FISHING

Fishing Enthusiasts…
40 Mile Park has the lake for you.

Our lake is stocked with Walleye, Pike, Perch, Whitefish, and Burbot fish, and some have even said the walleye fishing is the best around. With over 81 071 acre-feet of water in the reservoir at any given time combined with the expansive 11 kilometre length of the reservoir, there is no shortage of space for you to find your own little piece of fishing paradise from the shore or a boat.

This patch of paradise is tucked into to the hillside, and the long, narrow nature of the lake keep waves down in windy weather. Also, the lake is open all year long offering great ice fishing conditions. If you’re just starting out or a seasoned fisherman, 40 Mile Park is the perfect fit for your day on the water or shore. So come show those fish who is boss and maybe even get the catch of the day!
