Cool, clear water waiting to be enjoyed

40 Mile Park is the perfect prairie oasis for your water adventure. The lake and its bays can be easily explored by kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards, but if something with an engine is a little more your style our concrete launch site allows for easy loading and unloading of your boat. Convenient floating docks are on hand to give you and your guests easy access to shore if you’re just joining for the day.

The cool, clear water of this reservoir provides a great foundation for a day of wake surfing or water skiing, and the length of the lake makes it almost impossible to run out of room. The unique long and narrow geological formation of the lake dampens the famous winds of Southern Alberta, allowing for calmer waters for you to enjoy.

Because of the vast size of 40 Mile Park, it’s the ideal playground for families and serious boaters alike. There is room for everyone to enjoy this 11 kilometre reservoir, so strap down the canoe or hitch up the trailer and get on out here!
