Something for Everyone
Activities to satisfy and entertain the whole family

Campsites are just a hop, skip, and a jump away from our sandy beach; playgrounds, volleyball nets, tether balls, and basketball hoops are located throughout the park for kids to enjoy. Grab an ice cream from the concession at the Oliver Hodge Viewing Centre as you play the day away in sand and sun. A designated swimming area is provided, and picnic tables and day camping areas make 40 Mile Park your destination for fun whether you’re here for a day or a week.

Enjoy a round of mini-golf, or branch out and try our frisbee golf course! Don’t forget our lake is always a prime location for water adventures, whether it be the tube, the skis, or leisurely float.

The Milk River in Writing on Stone Provincial Park nearby is known for its tubing adventures, and you can hike with the family along the Kennedy Coulee Ecological Reserve. On the ride out you can’t miss the view of the Sweetgrass Hills located in Montana, USA, and the unique surroundings of the Canadian Badlands are sure to impress even the littlest traveler.

40 Mile Park has something to entertain your family, no matter if your speed is easy and relaxed, or fast paced and looking for adventure!
